I, like sin and the rest of the guys that kind of jumped your case was simply saying, the fact that unlike dodge, and some foreign guys, ford doesnt come with a standard 100,000 mile bumper to bumper warrenty or a lifetime powertrain (dodge) because time has proven they dont need it. Its a simple coin flip, but saying FORDs are crap is kind of dumb seeing how they are the best selling truck for a long long time, so obviously some one likes them. There is always one bad egg in the batch, which is why everyone offers extended warrenty. The truth is, extended warrenty is really a way for the Ford, Dodge, Chevy or whoever to make money because they know they have a good chance you will never use it. Its free money to them, but i still would say buy it.

A buddy's dad has bought 3 Ford's and each one has come up a lemon (actual lemon law on the first, missed the second by a couple months...), except the last one. That one got totalled while in for something minor at the dealership. Some people just aren't meant to own a Ford (or they just can't handle it...)

That being said, Me and my family have owned well over 5 Ford vehicle's all makes and models, and love them all, only one in the shop for warranty work (04 explorer).....

People like you need to keep buying Ford's so my family can avoid the one-in-a-million chance....
