2005 STX facelift
I've had my 2005 F150 STX single cab for 5 years now and I want to give it a face lift.
For starters, I want to replace the factory headlights with smoke HID headlights. Any recommendations and good prices?
Second, I want to put some bigger tires on my truck. I heard 285 is a good size. Is that the biggest size I can put on? The only thing my truck has is 265 with front spacer levelin kit (still lots of clearance room). What are good tires to get?
Third, I want to get a replacement front end bumer (with grille). Any recommendations and good prices?

I'll be getting the DDM HIDs in a couple of weeks for my truck. They're a really good price and quality.
As far as tires... here's a pretty good post about tires: https://www.f150forum.com/f4/tire-wh...04-08-a-24510/ Lots of good info.
Grille Guards, I always go with Ranch Hand. But they can be pricey. But it's worth it to me to pay a little extra to protect my truck. But for my current truck, I think I may just go with a BullBar. Best of luck with your build buddy.

I have an STX, and I had a leveling kit (pre lift lol) with 285/70/17 tires. They looked really good
The smoked headlights are ok, but inhibit light too much (kind of defeats the purpose, ya know?). Check the black housing heads. I have 8000k HIDs and I love them.

Search on each of these topics, get a favorite beverage, and read away. They have been talked about so many times, you'll get bored fast reading all the posts.
Some have even included pics, so you can judge if it's the style/look you're after. The Tire/wheel fitment guide at the top of this forum should answer that question, as provided to you by another poster already.
