I have a 2004 F-150 with the 5.4. Recently I have been expierencing a bogging down in the engine. If I step on the gas it goes away. It has never died on me and I am getting no check engine lights. I have regualarilly changed the filter and have done it twice since this problem started. I have researched this forum and found out about the fuel modulator problems. I removed it and there is no corrosion or holes. Could this be a fuel pump going bad?
