Default 2004 5.4 miss.cops/plugs

I have a 2004 5.4 F150. It has a miss occasionally between 40-50 or so. Ive read plenty of forums saying its coils and plugs. Plugs where changed at about 90,000 it now has 172,000 .Going to replace coils and plugs . My questions are with the coils . Some people have told me Accel coils work better than OEM. I'm looking up parts numbers and really cant find a cross reference number . The numbers on a coil reads 3L3U-12A366-BB. Any help as to witch coil parts number or cross reference numbers would be greatly appreciated.

Also get some new boots. And springs.. don't forget to apply a tad bit of dielectric grease inside the boot ends.. not sure where you read that Accel cops were better than Motorcraft..
But, they would be my first choice besides Motorcraft.. just make sure you get the correct ones for the 5.4 3valve.. they make a 2valve version also.

I would personally stick with Motorcraft. If you get new coils there is no need to also buy boots and springs as the coils come with them.

Interesting. I've personally never seen a set like that.

Went with Motorcraft. After reading some others posts on this subject I really didn't need anymore issues or money spent switching back and forth from one manufacture to another. Truck runs better so far. This is my second plug change and happy to report all but 1 plug came out in one piece .
