07 f150 back up sensors ?????????

Default 07 f150 back up sensors ?????????

Ok took my truck threw a self drive threw car wash tonight to get the salt off it, temps here been low in the 15 to 20s. So when i put my truck in reverse the sensors beep when im not close to anything. So i just want to know could it bee from the cold after going threw the car wash or what, It didnt start till after i went threw the car wash?

mine get ice, dirt and ect. in them all the time causing them todo this. I should try and see if I can seal them better

Very likely the car wash, mine do this every time up here in Alberta after going into the car wash. Before I leave now, I blow them out (yes, it looks funny but I back into the car wash LOL)... or, now I park my truck in my garage which is now heated so it melts. I've also used a heatgun previously to get the water out. If there's ANY dirt or water in the ridges of those sensors, it'll false detect.


At -35C or so, regardless of washing or not, my sensors usually go solid beeping. They don't want to be out in the cold anymore than we do haha.

just wipe the ice or dirt out . It only takes a few minutes to do it .
