04-07 F-150 Projector Headlights Without Halo
#11
Me thinks I'm one of those idiots! I have the HID's installed in my stock headlight buckets, and I do notice the "sidelight" effect. The HID's have so much more penetrating light, and on the dark unlit streets I drive on, they help quite a bit.
I have noticed that folks do not like to ride in front of me at night though, especially the lowered cars. They usually change lanes. I feel guilty about it.
Never thought about buying a set of headlight housings that used the projector style arrangement. I guess that "slap on the back of the head" look about them turned me off. But if it aims the light more forward, then it would out weigh the look factor.
Thanks for the education. Always a good day when I learn something new.
