Default 04-07 F-150 Projector Headlights Without Halo

Does anybody know any company that makes projector headlights without the import looking halos. Please post pictures if anybody has them.

I don't think its possible to go projector (I could be wrong) without looking seriously cheezy... (ricer)

Are you refering to the "blue" HID lights, or those "bug eyed" looking lights?

I installed a set of the blue HID lights (they come with the ballist and wiring). They work great. I have the blue light for low beam only, but for more money, you can get the high beams as well.

I know the diff. between HID's and projectors. To my knowledge, about the best quality Projector housings you can get are from APC and thats like Autozone accessory quality... that! just my .02

Gotcha. I'm not a fan of the look of those projector style lights. It always looks like someone slapped you in the back and your eyes popped out.

They most likely do better than the HID's, but those are good enough for me.

Let us know what you find out.

Its not necessarily that projectors are better than the HID's but that HID lighting is designed for projector housings because it gives a much more focused beam with alot less glare. It also has a cleaner cut off. That's why you see alot of these idiots with HID's glaring all over the place so that you can even see out of your rear view if they're behind you. At least dial them in...lol

Me thinks I'm one of those idiots! I have the HID's installed in my stock headlight buckets, and I do notice the "sidelight" effect. The HID's have so much more penetrating light, and on the dark unlit streets I drive on, they help quite a bit.
I have noticed that folks do not like to ride in front of me at night though, especially the lowered cars. They usually change lanes. I feel guilty about it.

Never thought about buying a set of headlight housings that used the projector style arrangement. I guess that "slap on the back of the head" look about them turned me off. But if it aims the light more forward, then it would out weigh the look factor.

IMO if those headlights didnt have the rediculous looking blinker setup at the top they would look pretty damn good.
