I love my 2014 XLT EcoScrew! Runs great and has power to spare. So far I have no issues but I only have 4000 miles on it. GVWR is more than the 5.0 @ 7700lbs GVWR with max tow package

It's all in what you like. I have the 6.2L in my 11 Limited and love it. My best friend and live in has the EB in her 11 Lariat. She loves it! She has over 50K on it and never had a problem. It has no catch can or tuner. Completely stock. She doesn't get any better gas mileage than I do because she has a heavy foot. I say get whatever truck and engine you want. If it's a Ford, they are all good!

I just wish Ford would do something about the ****ty Stealer's!!!!!

Love mine X2.

If you want throaty V8 sound, you will be disappointed.
If you want big V8 power, you will be very pleased! You get diesel engine brute power at pump gas prices.

I have about 20k miles on my '13 ecoboost with no tune and no catchcan. I have no plans to add either a tune or catchcan. It's fine for me as-is.

I have had my 2011 XLT Screw for 5 months and put 7k miles on top of the 66k it had, without any problem yet. Absolutely love the truck, great towing power, good MPG, and very comfortable. We just took 6 adults on a 5 hour road trip while towing a small trailer getting about 18 mpg on the highway.

My only complaint would be when doing an oil change without lifting the front of the truck, it is nearly impossible to not spill oil on the garage floor. I would assume the 5.0 has this same issue, but I don't know that for sure.

only have it about 8k miles. it's a great engine, i've had no issues, but i've always had V8's and this particular engine, as great as it may be, is just not for me. Originally intended on ordering a Raptor, passed that up for the deal I got on my current FX4. After a few months and the constant regret of not getting a Raptor, I opted to trade her in...we did have some fun while it lasted...

sidenote - my gas mileage was never great, about 12.8 mpg, but I can't blame that on the engine...that's my heavy *** foot and primarily city driving!

Love mine, no issues. Coming from a long line of V8's and non-Ford's ... well my non-Ford days are over.

I got rid of my 04 Titan and have my 2014 XLT ECOBOOST 4X4 OFF ROAD PACKAGE....love love love this truck- NO Comparison! This F150 ROCKS!! No wonder the other truck companies are scrambling....cause they can't touch the twin turbo 24 valver!!
Say what you want...but, that motor is EPIC. The mileage is phenomenal and moves this truck like its nothing! I have the 3:73 gears and it will lope along in 6th all day....then I can lock out gears!
Stud of a truck!
