It's bought a 2014 xlt ecoboost and love it do far just wondering if I am alone and the only guy that loves this engine . Are there more people that are happy with theirs than those bashing it. I'm hoping for a trouble free engine and I have heard issues out of the 5.0 also so it just a crap shoot sometimes. Let me know your thoughts

Would not trade my tow beast.. Great engine, 33k trouble free miles.. Gas mileage... Not great but my turbo loving driving is to blame

I've had zero issues with the engine, very powerful and decent MPG.

This stuff I hear about fuel in oil some people make it sound like its just dumping it in there or something. Just don't get it. Mine appears to have all the updated factory changes to it so I'm hoping for the best It's nice to hear from happy people rather than the others bashing it

I'm loving the low end torque compared to the 5.0 I had in my '11. Zero to 60 this thing haul's azz for a big heavy truck. I did have a minor problem with my 5.0 at 2K miles but had it corrected and no other problem's. My son in law also has a '13 Ecoboost Lariat and he loves it too. I only have 4K miles in 4 month's so far but it's been trouble free and I'm getting about 1.5 mpg's better then my 5.0 did.

I've had one issue, but still will not trade it for anything. Love turbo setups and with tuning it is really enjoyable. I miss the V8 sound, but the power makes up for it so much.

I didn't buy either the 5.0 or the Eco and I love it. And no I don't have the 3.7 either lol. In comparison on this site I am alone... with the maybe dozen other active owners.

I love my ecoboost. I came from an 03 with the 5.4L so I was quite skeptical at first ofa smaller displacement v6. Now you would have to give me an F250 diesel to get me to change. Recently had a loaner truck with the 5.0L in it and I was not as impressed with the performance of it.
