Thanks!
I'm using the Jw speakers.. they are a pretty close match. I might upgrade the factory d3s bulbs to 5000k Phillips though Imo it would match better

You can get a slim ballast HID conversion kit for your fogs and color match them to your factory HIDs. I'd say 4300k would be the right color temperature for the bulbs you'd want. As far as installation goes, take out your factory halogen bulbs, wire up the ballast and the new HID bulbs will fit right into your factory fog light housing. If you do it yourself you can get it done for under 50 bucks.

Ive found HIDs have always melted the inside of my fogs.. chrome discolored and peeling after a year or so 35watt kits

I'll take a picture of the output when it's dark today... they are dot approved for on road use and I find a lot brighter than factory, they really light up the road

Well that's not ideal at all! I've never had that issue on previous vehicles, but all vehicles are different.

I'd say that the LEDs are coming a long way. I know the LED spot/flood cube style lights that I put on my light bar are WAYYYYYY brighter than any fog light. You could always put a set of those in there for back roads or something.

I guess it all depends on what you want them for.... Looks? Performance in fog? Personally, I did my lights for everything BUT fog use. I like the way they look and they light up the night when I need it.

Yeah I went to AutoZone, looked in the book and the number that came up for bulbs didnt match anything on the shelf.. so I wated to see what you all had going on. In the past the high priced bulbs burn out..

what is the correct number for the bulbs? H10?
