When I set up my sync and bluetooth I opted not to have sync call 911 in case of air bag deployment. Now, every time I start my truck Sync "warns" me that 911 auto call is disabled.

How do I shut that thing off from warning me every time I start the truck? Any ideas?

I have the same issue. I have not been able to locate any info in the sync manual or online to address this.

The only time it irritates me, is if 'Rush' is on the radio, and it causes me to miss a key point of the discussion.

It got tired of it real quick also.
I just turned off the bluetooth on my phone & the sync doesnt know that Im in the truck then. If I can just get my wife to keep hers off then I will be ok!!!!!!!

do your airbags plan on deploying? And if so, what makes you certain you wont need 911 called? just turn it back on ???????

If you choose to turn it off, a line of text reminding you that 911 Assist is disabled will continue to be shown on the radio display. In addition to the 911 Assist enhancement, the Auto Vehicle Health Report feature will now have a default setting of 'OFF'. Simply switch to 'ON' if you wish this report to be automatically generated.

Please Read: This update will take up to 8 minutes to complete. Approximately 60 seconds after you begin the installation, you will receive an Installation Complete message.
