I ordered thru stage3motorsports. I ordered two roush exhausts, one for the f150 and the raptor. They were polite, over nighted my two shirts bc they forgot to put them in the box. Yes the leaf spring does hit the exhaust and it does get surface rust, but the sound it makes just sets it apart from all the other trucks. I think the price for it is decent as well. A gentlemen i spoke to at the ford dealership has the borla, and he told me his doesn't sound nearly as good as mine does. Hope this helps anyone.

Is there anything I should know in regards to installation to minimize the contact with the leaf spring?

roush told me i should have used a pry bar between the pipping and the leaf spring... and jam it as far over as possible..... u know instead of engineering the kit properly so it clears the spring.....mine did a lil more then dent the pipe the spring was actually jammed into it. i didn't notice till i got home i had to jack up the truck remove the rear tip hanger then use a bar to get the pipe over enough to clear the leaf as i let the jack down

Ouch! I did go through the instructions today when I opened the box and noticed that it states to pry the pipe over to get the clearance. Seems a bit hinky, but I'm hopeful that the sound is worth the effort!

Installed the new Roush exhaust on my 2011FX4 today. I did notice that the rear spring would've hit the exhaust so before I tightened everything down I adjusted it so there is clearance. Not much clearance, but there is enough. And man does it sound FANTASTIC!

keep an eye on it.. the pipe might shift a bit and could cause the fitment issue they are only clamps and can come a lil loose if u can get it to clear i would suggest at least getting it tack welded so it cant move
