Looks like you're making good progress! How hard was it once you got the first corner pulled loose?

Nice. I thought they would melt at 28 minutes. Looks like a clean separation too, mine are all hacked up from prying.

First I bent all the tabs back a little. Then started prying from the corner with the reflector. Once you get that up just keep prying all the way around every where the black plastic looks strong. I just ripped them apart basically, and everytime they would stop separating I'd start to pry a little . If I did it again I'd try 250 for half hour. I think that is about the magic number.

I think the low heat allows more time for the permaseal crap to cook deeper, if that makes sense..

How the hell do you get the reflector out? Am I overthinking it?

The bucket? You have to drill a hole in the back of the housing to get to the screw. You can see a screw shaft (haha) on the back of the reflector and you'll have to eye out where you have to drill. It sucks.

What look are you going after? I was going to try and do the retrofit myself also. I have been doing research for two days. I am wanting mine blacked out. What type of paint do you use for the outer trim and reflector?
