Removing Bed Rail Caps

bed caps
this may be too late for some, but i just got mine off and didn't break a thing.
the first thing you will need is patience.
i bent two screwdrivers. one in an L and one in a J
using channel locks i loosened alll visible inner clips.
then pry up and use a straight screwdriver for the bed side of the hidden clips and the J for the outer side.
just take your time and pry along.
Hope it helps!

Thanks... I had thought of taking mine off to have access to the stake pockets, but obviously, something else will have to be put on there.. Appreciate the effort very much.

I can't believe what I am reading!! Get a knife, a regular knife out of your silverware drawer! On the inside in center of cap there is a cutout put knife in there slightly pry up, and put your finger under it and snap off! I just did it with one hand while talking on phone!
