Followed that link and found DM5Z-19D596-A for the led flasher. Is there a port on the VSS that this plugs into?

I just got my stuff in the mail today. The security module and the remote start module that allows the app access. Does anyone have a video of these being installed? I've seen versions where they're installing things under the steering wheel and others where they're putting it on the passenger side behind the glove box. Thanks. I want to get this installed today since I made an appt with the dealer for an IDS flash tomorrow.

Benny, I am looking to purchase a used 2012 that was originally sold in Canada. It has the factory remote start on the key fob. I see they offer RMU's for Canada and USA, I assume this has to do with cellular signals of the country and not where the vehicle was initially sold. I am in the US so I would buy a USA RMU correct?

Depending on what part numbers you received will determine where they install. If you have a factory remote start already no IDS programming is needed.

Yes correct, Its based on where you are located not the vehicle build.

I didn't have anything so I got 3 boxes in the mail. I hooked them up already and it seems so easy I hope it actually works.

- I put the security module and the other unit (cellular access) on the drivers side above the pedals. The only real way it connects is through the diagnostics port. Is that right?

- and the antenna on the passenger side hooked up to the TPS system. Does that seem right?

Well yes but it sounds like your mixing parts as you dont need any antenna for the Cellular system unless your adding a short range remote start too? You only need the VSS and RMU module that both piggyback off the OBD port. You should be all set though

It came in the kit I bought for 459. So I don't need that at all?

Unless it was an older remote access kit, The new kits only need the vss and rmu which plug into the OBD port.

Benny,
I got the kit for my 2015 f150 from you today. I have a few questions. First off the instructions on page 5 says to cycle the ignition to sync the VSS. Since I do not have a key do I start my truck then shut it off or just push the start button without touching the brake then touching the start button again to shut off acc?
Last question, since I already have the factory alarm system including the shock sensors as I am installing the security module if I install the jumper to bypass the alarm system will my factory alarm still work? If my factory installed alarm would still work with the jumper put in I assume I wouldn't need to set sensitivity?
