Default MOD 10$ Cup Holder

Hello everyone I'm new here and I wanted to post a little something that has been bothering me with my truck. THE CUP HOLDERS! I can't believe how many times I've cursed at my truck because of where my front cup holders are. I almost purchase the extra jump seat on ebay for 400$ just to have cup holders higher. Well here is my solution.
12" of 1/2" threaded bar. Cut into two 6" pieces
4 1/2" bolts
4 1/2" washers
Ebay 7.49$ - Universal Auto Seat Wedge Cup Drink Holder Interior Organizer

Is it stable? Does it tilt or wobble at all?

Very stable. I can put 2 big gulps without any issue. That's the purpose of the washers. The bigger the washers the better.

So glad my jump seat came with them. That would annoy the hell out of me. What years the jump seat NOT have them?

It's the shipping that kills you. A buddy did the same thing, he lives in the states and had it shipped from Canada to me in Canada. Another buddy grabbed it when he came for my wedding.

I can see your frustration of not having cup holders within reach, personally I'd still man up and sell the old one.

I did this 10 years ago but on the back of my Superduty seats. It was an X-cab and had no cup holders in the rear. This gave the kids 4 total.

My 2011 STX only had the one basically on the floor. Aggravated the crap out of me not having anything else. Nice work!
