I hate to resurrect this thread but I'm also having this issue where my HID headlights won't work on my '10 XLT. I've gone through two harnesses already. I have everything wired up correctly. Grounds are at stock locations on back of radiator support. I checked the bulbs and fuses, they looked good. Is there anyway to check the ballasts? I suspect they are the culprit since everything else looks fine.

BUMP to help you out. It seemed I had a couple issues...my harness and the ground location. It looks like you have been able to rule those out, though. Maybe double check your connections?? At one point, one of mine broke off.

Pull out the connector at the Moritomo controller...I'd look for corrosion on either side of the connectors and spray it with electronics / contact cleaner really well to see if that helps. It's almost impossible both of your ballasts are bad, if you have only 1 bad ballast that headlamp won't be working and the other one will be fine. Your issue must be again bad controller / flaky connection into or out of controller or fuse if neither of your headlamps are working.

Thanks guys. I will check the connections for the harness relay. This is my second harness already though. I'm really stumped on this one.
