Lets see a picture of where you have it connected to the battery terminal. Have you checked that fuse? I have had some issues with the fuse in the past.

Check your ground.
Personally I'd ground it to the large grounding lug/connector on the backside of the radiator support. Look to the right (passenger side) of where your relay is mounted. You'll see a large factory wire bolted to the support.

EDIT...there's another one, mirror image, on the driver's side.

I had two problems when I wired mine...........

1. One of the grounds was not metal to metal and caused that headlight not to come on.

2. The ground wires themselves were too short and kept pulling apart behind the headlight where it could not be seen. I had to take the headlights out and lengthen both grounds to reach well.

The only other consideration here is that you might just have a bad relay. I take it you are not hearing a very audible "click" when you turn on the headlights? The relay should be making a very audible and unique "click" when it activates the HID's.

No, I'm not hearing any kind of click. The grounds seem to have room with some slack. Which relay could be bad? Sorry, I have 0 knowledge about this.

Am I an idiot and needed to purchase fuses to put in the fuse box to have these work? I thought they were in the harness.

The relay on the harness, has Morimoto printed on it, pull back the rubber boot and see if you have battery power and ground with a test light, I've seen fuses that looked good but not be.

May be the angle of the camera in the fuse pic but it looks like one of the terminals is missing in the holder.

My harness seems different than the one in the video. AT 2:05 of the video you can see a black box attached to where the red holder is. Mine does not have that. What is that?
