Default How do you program the sync to recognize your own voice?

Hi Guys, maybe you can fill me in on how to program the Nav to recognize your own particular voice? I searched the forms & cant find any tips. Thanks for any help on this, I am just tired of looking like a fool when it dials the wrong number? Also does anyone know if & how to load your own JPGS on the screen. Thanks

I don't think that is a option.

If you're having problems with it dialing wrong phone numbers, an easy fix is to go through your phone and add last names to your contacts. This should solve most of the problems.

Some words it has a hard time hearing. My Like "Megan" and "Mike". If I try to call my wife, it calls Mike. So my wife's name in my phone book is Natasha.....Works every time now.

Here's a tip - read the manual (start at page 1).

Or read the table of contents...

Voice recognition tutorial 36
Tutorial voice commands 37

You can program SYNC to recognize two different user profiles. I found it on page 37 of my Navigation SYNC manual. Once I programed the system to "recognize" my voice I no longer get false commands.

Another work around to the "Mike" and "Megan" problem is to use last names in the address book. I do that because my Blackberry has them already since it's for work and I never have a problem dialing the wrong person.
