This looks awesome, and I was pleasantly surprised by the pricing when I checked the page. I'm super interested to see what the testers have to say, as I had been a professional QA for many years before I got into working in data centers.

How difficult is it to remove and place in the garage if I want to get my motorcycle into the back bed to take it for service or something?

Not too difficult at all. The instructions say that you should have two people when installing or removing, but I've done it all by myself.

If you have the drawers loaded and want to keep them loaded, you have to remove the front rollers and pull the drawers out first. In each "ammo can" is the anchor hook--loosen and unhook those. Then I just took out half (every-other one) of the center top deck bolts. The system comes out in 2 sections then. No more than a half hour.

If you haven't seen it yet, the DECKED product review guys have installed their systems and posted some reviews and feedback which has been very helpful. You can see their posts at the links below!

So, I was outside tinkering with the truck this morning and while removing some things from one of my drawers in the Decked system, I remembered one other "issue" that you guys at Decked should consider correcting. Oddly enough, it's the bottle opener! It's upside down. I only used it once because to actually open a bottle, you have to tip the bottom of the bottle up to a point whereas your (my) beer manages to spill a bit.

It should be designed to open by tipping down so the momentum of opening keeps the beer inside.

Just a thought....

Hey Greg Owen
You are absolutely correct. In fact this borders on alcohol abuse! We were very limited with how the bottle opener could be positioned and were left with only one option, which in effect "christens" your tailgate each time you use it....
That said it's on the list of "pesky things to fix". Until then maybe we ought to just send everyone a proper bottle opener!
Thanks for the feedback and for being a customer!

I ride motorcycles every weekend and I'm tired of this tool box not having enough room. Love the deck and the idea that I can still use it as a bed and have great storage and waterproof is the key
