Help buying a used f150 that has sync
I really like the Silverado but the f150 seems to have a bigger back seat. I'm trading my Ridgeline because the 2 baby seats are tight back there and I nee the room. Today I looked at a 2014 fx4 with sync. The truck was clean but I am very nervous about the reliability with the sync system. A quick search has shown there is major problems. Also the driver door didn't close flush to the passanger door. Didn't line up well. But shows no signs of an accident. Clean car fax. What do you guys think? And anyone upgrade from a 14 or 15 Silverado that can compare. Thanks.

sync being dumb isn't uncommon, but it isn't a big deal. really. mine acted up for a bit, then it was fine.
if the Bluetooth issues are enough to steer you from the truck, it'll **** you off a lot when you get it. the only issues I had with mine were with giving voice commands, but it hasn't done it in a year or so.
id check for bondo on the door or other signs of a panel being repaired.
is the paint perfectly matched? if so, I wouldn't worry about it.

U ever had an issue with sync. Just bought a new accord and frankly besides appearance of system in dash both function well- actually ford Bluetooth hooks up faster.

Sync is hit and miss. Mine works fine 99% of the time. Sometimes it doesnt connect to my phone or its slow to connect. Other than that It calls, and opens up music for me fairly reliably.
