Tried that several times with no luck, watched your video and tried again this morning and it worked perfectly..
thanks a lot!
thanks a lot!
As stated before, you need two keys, if you bought it new you should have them, put the first key in and turn to run, NOT start, wait until the video displays, (2-3 secs) take key out and insert 2nd key and turn to run, now your center cluster screen will show you what your door key pad code is.
Made a video how here's a link.

Can't believe a dealer tried to charge you. My dealer did the same. I found the code in less than 5 minutes by removing the kick panel RH side, after doing a search on this forum. Given that I have spent hundreds in parts at this dealer over the years, I was disappointed in the lack of honesty (SA said it can only be retrieved by hooking into the magical 'shop computer', 1 hr labor). Now I have no guilt/shame in buying my parts from RockAuto or best online source.

Tried the method Rnlcomp posted and demonstrated in his video, this does not appear to work on my 2011 FX4... Bought the truck used, dealer gave me a code but it doesn't work.
Is the key method only for 2013-14's?

If you release the back seat on the drivers side you pull back the carpet and you will see the keyless entry box and your factory code is located on that . I just did this for my buddies
