Default TPS Warning

I've done a lot of searching and am getting myself confused, hopefully this is a easy question.

If I was to run a set of winter tires and wheels without any sensors what would happen?

I am confused as to what type of warning I would get. Do I get a audible warning + light on the dash? or do I only get the light?

Thanks for any reply.

I know with the older F-150's you would get one beep at start up and then the light would stay lit on the dash.

Today i actually bought my new wheel sensors for my snow tires/wheels. since they will be going on here soon i wanted to be prepared.

Thanks,

I can get used to a light but if the warning is similar to the audible seatbelt warning I will not be able to ignore it.

Just stays on.

And you can get 4 OEM sensors for around $100 on eBay.

Default tps light

I put aggressive winter mud/snow tires on my 2013 xlt 4/4 and did not put the sensors in the rims,[ cheapies off a earlier Ford Truck, xl, that had the band type tps. After about 10 mi., the dash light came on, I covered it with black tape so I couldn't see it. I only run the mud/snows from Nov. till March. when I'm off road, hunting/ice fishing. My brother works at a large auto salvage yard, wheels were free, no newer wheels were available. Also free were the nuts,2013 nuts stuck out too far, had to use the short nuts.

On my '14, I've been getting a tpms sensor fault lately...it's audible alarm and light on the dash. Mine goes off after 10 minutes or so...never timed it. The alarm only goes off once for a couple of seconds...kind of like the low fuel alert.
