Default Dead battery

To be honest no I have not checked that but will tonight and let you know. Im also thinking that its possible the last time I had it in at the dealer they might not have reset the BMS (Battery Monitor Sensor) and that is why I keep getting the Battery saver message on the screen.

They reset the BMS and it seems to have fixed the problem. Fingers crossed, Truck sat for 8 days and no drain.

2013 screw, 5.0. Just had the problem for the second time this morning. About 1 year apart. First time I thought it was because I always left keys in the ignition, but since then, I have not. I have noticed my dash l9ights on in the middle of the night before, but not recently. Only has 18,000 on it. Let me know what fixed it for you guys.

Good luck mate. 2013 F150's are infamous for dead batterys. search the web and you will see. From what i have read online it's seems as "Ford" knows there are issues with the 2013 but not willing to do alot to fix it. I have a 2013 and my battery has died 4 times. I contacted a Ford person on here who got me in contact with a regional customer rep but unfortunately nothing was ever fixed with mine. I got the "Within Fords Perimeters" BS. Maybe you will have better luck.

I've had mine go dead overnight randomly, three times over the last two years. After the last time I started to get the battery saver message every time I started or shut off the truck and took it in for service. According to the service paperwork, they had an update for the BCM to address this problem.

It's been about three weeks and has fixed my problem so far.

Is there a number for the update?

At least it looks like they did something about ur battery dying. The dealer i took mine to didn't give me sh@t. I guess i could have asked but after the 3rd battery and showing some frustration i was like f@@k it. I was hoping the ford contact here would help get it fixed but in the end i got the "its within Fords specifications" BS. If it dies again i will try a different dealer and see what happens. I guess it depends on the dealer and if they are willing to work with you or not. Just dont expect it get resolved, at least thats my take.

Default Dead Truck

Drove my 2013 F150 Tuesday and out to dinner that night. Sat all day Wednesday. Got in it this morning and dead. Only light on was a barely flickering seat belt dash warning. No dome light, nothing. Truck has under 10,000 miles on it. Going to put a charger on it tonight and see what happens.
