Also, I saw your most recent post with the updated, pre-production hood with the kit on the underside. I'm anxious to hear what you have to say once it is installed and tested. Would you happen to know when speaking with them, if they will be selling this piece individually for us people that already have the Cervini hood without it?
Good question. I actually asked them that last week and their reply was that they did not want to restrict Ram Air flow. Also, in the worse case scenario that something does make its way into the compartment that the intake air filter would be there to save the day.

I would anticipate that the new piece will be available for purchase. I've followed up with my contact and should have an answer tomorrow morning.

Can't wait to check out the performance.

Recent testing on their Eco F150 resulted with an 1-2 Mpg fuel efficiency improvement and noticeable throttle response feel and or improvements.

I don't think its a stretch to assume that engine temperature may come down albeit probably very minimal but in my books that's still a performance value add.

Cheers

Your efforts and time spent on this are greatly appreciated. Again, look forward to your reviews and when you hear from your contact about this new piece, please let us know, thanks!

in the pic it looks like there are 2 channels, 1 from each nostril, leading to the intake/air filter. is that true? i like how each channel first collects the air into a large chamber and then directs it/compresses it into the intake area.

Very interested to see how this all turns out... i have my finger poised over the "buy" button.

Ram Air Brethrens~!

Goodnews~!

I spoke with Cervinins and they have confirmed that the underhood duct will be available for purchase a few weeks after my testing is complete.

Also, if anyone has any pictures from their Cervinis Ram Air Hoods I'd love to see them please. With an upgrade of this nature I'm not entirely sure if it will look awesome or has the potential of looking like I'm trying to hard. LOL Partially joking but without ever seeing one in person its kind of a (all in) approach for something that really changes the look of your rig. One day your understated the next your a beast. LOL

Love your pictures and your rig. Super tight.

I actually laughed out load, its a totally beast. In a good way. I love it how snarly but polished at the same time.

I just hope my ride can pull it off as well. I hope it fits the styling of my FX4.

Thoughts???

I knows its totally personal but what do you think guys? P.S great idea of a pic from 20 yards. Even if its from your cell phone, we'd love to see it so we can get a profile perspective. Thanks again for everyone's input. Cheers~

DonTas, here are some pics as you requested. They are ok, but, don't do justice in my opinion. Hopefully they give you an idea in reference to what you are looking for in regards to the profile.
