Hello all. I need some help. I'm looking for blacked out side nameplates for my 2014 and I'm curious to know if anyone out there has factory black ones? I've seen them all black before and I have them too but mine are plasti-dipped and that stuff just doesn't hold up very well at all. Does anyone out there maybe have a Tremor or an FX4 with ALL blacked out emblems??? I'd be curious to know so I could try and locate some. My truck is Silver but I have black bumpers, wheels, accents etc. I'm really hoping there is a better answer than what I've come up with, thanks.

They only make the black/red ones that come on the appearance package trucks. They all say FX4 other than the tailgate one.

Pull them off, use Easy Off on the chrome to remove it or scuff it real good with scotchbrite pads and then paint it flat black?>

How about the raptor emblems. They only say 'f150' and have no section stating the trim level.
Also can someone tell me if there are holes in the body behind the trim level designation of the emblem? If not, then you can run the tailgate emblem on the sides.

Well I know there are holes, took them off today. If the holes weren't there I wouldn't even put them back on but I'm going to.
