Cool, so can these also just plug into a cigarette lighter, etc, plug rather than hard wire?

This. Kinda sounded sales pitchy in a way so I thought it was spam. Sorry about that, bzoucha. Welcome to the forum!

Thanks for the info bzoucha, and despite some, er, "cautious" readers zingers, I'd hate to get to a time where an over-marketed world drives people away from sharing sage advice. It's buyer-beware, always, but folks, don't stop the info-passing!

My latest mod came in right at $50

It was the tank of gas needed to get to work! Super easy install less than 5 mins. I'd share the link but a quick search should suffice on how to do this one!

I did this mod this morning myself but mine was just a bit over $60. Only the good premium fuel for my baby.

Don't have a Lariat Package but still want interior lighting? this is for you. Comes with everything needed besides some double-sided tape.

These LED light strips come with a wireless remote that controls 15+ colors, dimness of lights, you name it.

I'll upload some pics if you guys are interested. Just thought I'd share the best mod I've ever seen for such a price

you can typically by these light strips from amazon for $20.00

Hey Bzoucha, thanks for the find. I will attest that the light are nice and worth the price. As for connecting them, I think I'm going to tap into the headlight wires. This way the come on only at night when the headlights are switched. Leaving them on a switched fuse means they come on even in the day and I'd have to turn them off by remote and then turn them on again at night.

The one thing I really do like is the aux switch on the leds that allow you to connect to the interior lights. The Led's will come on white and turn off with the rest of the interior lighting. Unfortunately I don't know which wire to tap into to take advantage of the feature.

Does anybody know which wire controls the interior dome lights?
