Default backup camera on XLT

I'm going to be looking for an 09/10 XLT crew with a few options and would like to get the factory camera. I've looked at a bunch of trucks online and have never seen the camera on an XLT - only the reverse sensors. Anyone have an XLT w camera. I may have to order? Thanks Mark

Its a challenging project. If you can find or order a truck with the feature already installed, I'd recommend that route. After having mine installed a couple of weeks now, I'd say its definitely a worthwhile feature. I just wish the display mirror had a larger image.

For sure worth $450 dollar option to have it installed by the factory.

Mark, to answer your basic question, we have the factory installed B/U camera option on our 2009 XLT and love it. Well worth the money in my opinion.

Vince- was your XLT a special order, or was it equipped that way.
Thanks again.

Mark, we found our XLT on the dealer's lot. It was not a special order.

They had a few XLT's with the camera on the lot where I bought my truck. Unfortunately for me, none of them had the other options or color I wanted.

does the backup camera come up on the rearview mirror like the 08s or if you have the navi screen does it come up on that?
