The CS-FTR-F35 is a great kit. I installed one on my moms truck (she's not use to the size yet). Straight forward to install.

I was going to order one for mine with a baby on the way and wife driving the truck more but they weren't able to get the Ford mirror last time I checked.

That is the code.

This kit and tailgatecamera.com look very similar. Wire harness looks the same. Camera source has the factory looking lines.

They look the same but the specs for the camera source claim better resolution. I don't know how much difference it makes on a 3-4" screen though.

Coupon code is F150forum - save some bucks when you use it!!

Here are some differences between us and the competitor:

1. Our camera is a true 600 TV lines, which is clear as a bell - even better than factory. The camera fits and looks like the factory cam in the base housing, vs. a square camera jammed into a round hole like competitor brands.
2. Our parking guidelines are a copy of the factory Ford lines
3. our harnesses are loomed and all the wires are long enough to get you inside the cab
4. We offer a 3 year warranty and use OEM parts - OEM base housing, OEM emblem (new version that doesn't discolor), OEM mirror.
5. With the gyro mirror in this kit you will not have to relocate anything! This is not a Foreign knock-off it's the real Gentex made in Michigan USA deal.

We stand behind our stuff with the best warranty and customer service around.. give us a try!

The gyro mirrors will be in stock early next week and we only have 13 of them. Once they are gone we won't get any more and you will have to relocate the compass gyro.

Take care and hope to earn your business,

Camera-source.com,

Do you offer a mirror with a back up camera screen and a built in compass display for those of us that don't have a factory compass?

Thanks

This mirror available without the rest of it? Just curious I already have your camera I'm installing.
If it is true 100% plug and play with factory connection I might be interested.

You will need to add the two video wires to your existing mirror connector then route the video cable down the drivers side a-pillar to mate the added RCA to your camera. Then you will need to add the BCM wire to pin 2 of the factory connector and route it to the passenger kick panel (provided you don't already have a wire in pin 2 of your mirror connector).

So in total you will add 3 wires, maybe only 2 to your factory connector. No rerouting the entire harness and splitting open your old mirror to relocate the gyro.

The mirror is on our site here:

Don't forget to use your coupon 'f150forum'.

Thanks,

Any chance you could figure out how to make a backup camera feed to the 4.2" productivity display in the dash? That would be sweet
