Default is an aftermarket radio possible in a 2011 F150?

I was thinking about ethier getting an aftermarket in dash nav or just an upgraded aftermarket radio but after looking at the dah I don't see how that would even be possible unless there was a whole new dash piece to match a Lariet. The only dash lit I've seen has been for a plat.

Does anyone know how this can be done?

Sure it can be done. There are lots of after market radio/nav combinations available. Check with Crutchfield. They have a wide selection of systems.

There are quite a few options that will fit the lariat layout. As shortride stated, Crutchfield will provide it for free when you buy a head unit. They'll also provide technical support and instructions if you want to do it yourself. I've seen the mastersheet for the 2009+ F150 and it should do the trick for most aftermarket additions.

...or you could have it done by a local installer.
