Bugger, I paid that price with two position switches. Some things keep getting cheaper.
Thanx for that info. Glad to know it won't change the seats comfort.

I always shop around before buying anything. Drives the wife nuts. it took me 3 years to buy an HD tv..... LOL

Slyydderrr and I are trying to figure out how by using the vents under the seats and getting the heat as an added advantage. It's gonna take some "beta testing" as he put it that I hope to get done this weekend.

Well I went out and took a few pictures to see if anyone can help us figure this out. One picture is of the back of the seat when I unzipped it and the other is the vent.

I found out that the wide attachment for a shop vac we have fits almost perfect and some modding would get it to stay and be airtight.

Now we just have to figure out how to get it through the seat you can get the bottom pads from Ford for about $100 a chair and the perforated leather is $50 (scratch that if you have cloth as it should go right through). Or you could find salvage seats in a junkyard but there's no guarantee there. So that means about $75 a chair for air conditioned and heated seats (labor and beer would be extra).

Let me know what you guys think!

For $80 you can't go wrong. I like the idea of the lighted switches and being able to select the heat level.

Lots of room for plumbing in that seat back. I was just being silly about the shop vac, cool to see it actually works!
