I have a 2011 F-150 Lariat and I have been thinking about doing a leveling kit for it and a cold air intake. Just put LED tail lights on probably going to do the front next does anyone have any good advise on some mods I can do??!!! Forgot to mention it is a 3.5L Ecoboost

You could start here. Tons of great mods that don't cost a fortune. https://www.f150forum.com/f38/best-m...r-50-a-166689/

Thank you for the response. Do you recommend doing the leveling kit? Because I really love the way it looks. And I'm up in the air about the cold air intake I'm not really worried about cost just curious about mods that others have done that they liked

Personally I cannot speak for either leveling kits or intakes, but there's plenty of members on here with both! Just a little bit of searching and you'll find something that will work for you. I decided to buy Bilstein 5100's to level out my truck, set them at the 1.5" setting and I love the way my truck rides/looks now. Best of luck!

I like the leveled look. Eventually I'd like to do a 4" lift as I think that's the best lifted look with these trucks. You can do a level kit for less than $100 and I think it greatly improves the look. I cannot tell a difference in the ride quality either. At one time, I wanted a CAI or so I thought. After reading countless threads with people saying it does nothing to improve HP or MPG, I decided against it. Tinted windows was one of my first mods and probably the most beneficial. I live in the Midwest and it gets very hot & humid in the summer. Good luck and keep us posted on your mods.

I have done some little modifications to it. I have 15% tint bug deflector rain guards on the windows and LED tail lights and weather tech floor mats. I thought about the touch screen dvd navigation system in it but just afraid it will mess up the Sony system it came with plus it's a little pricey.

Few things I did.
- All Windows Tinted
- LED Interior lights + LED 3rd brake light and License plate lights
- 2" HBS Level kit (Changing it out with a 2.5" this weekend)
- 35x12.50x20 Cooper Discovery STT

FUTURE MODS:
- Weathertech digital floor mats
- Tuner (Ordering tomorrow)
- Exhaust
- Headers maybe.

PS....If your interested in a level kit, I am posting mine for sale in a few days. Only been on the truck for a week. Let me know.
Thanks,

By far the best few & cheapest mods i've done to my FX4 are LED interior lights replacing the factory halogens, weathertech floor mats and front side mirror LED turn signal assemblies. Done all three for roughly $325. Out of all three the interior halogen to LED swap out was the most satisfying, night and day difference. The Weathertech floor mats are damn nice as well, you can pretty much bet they will outlast the the life of the truck and you will never have to worry about the carpet getting in really bad shape. Like the LED front blinkers in the side mirrors, gives the truck a little more functionality and separation from other trucks.
