2011/2012 55 MPH vibration/shudder issue; information database

My 2012 with 20,000 miles has shuddered in the past, but never to the extreme it did this past weekend driving in some rainy conditions. Planning a trip to the dealer tomorrow, but from reading it seems like the fix they have in place isn't really a fix it's more of a band aid. Is the overall opinion that the latest TSB addresses the issue? Does it address at the expense of power and fuel economy? Seems like restricting the airflow would do just that.
After experiencing the all out shudder, it makes me wonder if my truck has been showing signs all along. I've never been able to squeeze more than 16 MPG out of it and as I mentioned, it has had small shudders in the past.
Looking for any feedback available as I'm trying to decide whether to let the dealer attempt the fix (if I can even convince them to try) or just trade it in on a 5.0. I'm working with a small window cause we have a family road trip coming up and there's no way I'm taking the family on the highway with it functioning as-is.

The intention of this thread per the OP is to gather information to form a database. No other information need posted in here other than whats requested in the OP.
With all due respect, this forum and the members here have been much better to research and find a resolution to this and the low speed shudder than my Ford dealer, whom was unable to correct either.

I'm still putting up a fight with my vibration issue, it's been in the shop 4 times for a vibration, I sent a certified demand letter to Ford, I filed a BBB Auto line claim (which I can tell you is frankly a waste of time) and I have just recently asked the State Attorney General's office to get involved with my lemon claim... Ford also sent out their engineer to inspect and drive, in which I rode along and secretly audio recorded the engineer state and confirm he felt the vibration... so at this point Ford hasn't attempted to call or make things right so now I'm preparing my lemon law lawsuit... plus going to start going viral with my complaint against Ford and their defective Ford F-150. (2013 F150 FX4 Ecoboost)

I understand. I just saw multiple posters looking for input, rather than just posting info for a database. I want to make sure everyone gets taken care of to the full extent of my ability.

2011 – F150 Eco-Boost with 53,000 miles. The check engine light appeared immediately as I tried to pull onto a freeway pulling a 3000 lbs boat. All of a sudden I had a drastic loss of power followed by a violent shutter. This eco-boost had been slightly shuttering under low RPM high torque loads since the day I bought it, but Ford said that without a warning light they couldn't do anything. Now the warning light comes on and I’m out of warranty. The dealer – Blue Bonnet Ford in New Braunfels, TX states that all repairs and diagnostic fees will be at my cost.
All of this comes on the heels of a failed power steering system 3 weeks ago. I spent a week fighting with Ford to get them to cover the parts, but it cost me 500 to cover the labor. Now I’m starting all over again. I’m beyond frustrated. My F-350 had an ongoing issue with failed fuel injectors, and now this F150 seems to be another UNRELIABLE truck. Don’t buy a truck based solely on appearance. I really think the Ford trucks are the best looking on the road, but my 4 previous Chevrolet's never had a single mechanical issue. That 350 motor is bullet proof.
Why in the world would I buy an extended warranty? Its Ford tuff and reliable, correct??? NOT!
