Don't know exactly what was done till I go pick her up tomorrow. Guessing the fuse block was replaced?..
Just noticed this, GOOD LORD!!!!!! It's a half hr job and as mentioned parts about $20. Take the pdf I posted a link to and go back and get your $$ back or threaten a small claims lawsuit if they refuse.

Talk about getting robbed in broad daylight!

Agreed. Sounds like they are trying to screw you.

Sounds stupid, but excuse me. I have a 2013 5.0 and what does fuse 27 go to? First time I heard of this.

I pulled that fuse last year on my "10" & noticed the contacts were making/"melting" pits in the fuse lugs ( like already mentioned- was heating it up from the large current flow) solved that issue by sanding those pits clean & applying dielectric grease & pressing fuse in so those contacts "fell " back into those pits making more contact area - so far it's been handling the current without issue.

Yea, I figured I was getting reamed....Didn't know what was gonna be involved. I couldn't of fixed it anyway with back issues. Been pretty bad for the past month. They usually treat me well. A few weeks ago they removed my summer rims and put my stock rims with snows on. Had to break the bead and reseat two of them because they were leaking. Only charged me $20.00. Maybe it was a set-up, Lol... Haven't paid yet. Going to pick her up today. Yea, I'm gonna print out the PDF and take it with me. Gonna ask the service manager to walk out with me to show me just what they did. We shall see.
