Cool just note that some of the early generation camera housings are only compatible with the early generation cameras. In other words if your camera is currently held on with 2 screws you either have to go to Ford to get a replacement camera or replace the housing with the new generation mount. The new cameras are locked in with two tabs that are molded into the housing, then a single screw to hold the entire assembly in place.

Does anyone have a Pin out Diagram for the headliner harness connector by the rear window for the 2014 model year? I have a headliner Harness out of a 2010 as well as the RVD for the same year and the newer camera so I was going to run my own Camera feed to the displaybut wanted to see if I could adapt the chromatic and compass feature into my harness by repining if needed. If not I can live without it but it would be nice to have.

2013 F150 Factory Rear view Camera Help
I have a 2013 F150 XLT that did not come with a backup camera or the rear view mirror that displays the camera feed. I bought a factory mirror, part number BU5A 17E678 CD. And I bought an emblem backup camera. I brought the camera feed into the cab, and I can test the feed with a portable monitor and it works fine. Comes on when in reverse. But when I hook it up to pin 8 and 16 into the mirror, nothing happens. Where am I going wrong. Any help will be appreciated, thanks

Sounds like you did pretty much what I did on my 2011. Make sure you have a good connection on those pins. I made an adapter harness so that I could pass through the existing wires and add the 2 new wires only to the adapter. That way I didnt risk damaging the factory camera plug. The thing that plugs into the back of my mirror is not the factory plug but instead its my adapter. I put a bit of black vinyl tube around the wires and no one has ever questioned it.
