Thinking about adding a rear leaf spring
#2
It won't change the amount you can tow unless your rear sag was outpacing your engine/transmission/differential combo. Your tow ratings are determined by a whole lot of different things including your braking ability, steering ratio, differential gearing, bearings, etc. It only adds a little payload capability- by this I mean you can load it up and it won't sit on the bump stops
I threw in the procomp AAL and it states an extra 900-1000lbs, I can safely say that it holds weight. I had over a ton in the box and it sat level.

Thanks yea I have the shortbed and put some Sheetrock in it and it dropped about 2.5 inches so now it sits level with the front... And I want to level it and don't want the back to sag that much

Just make sure they check your thrust angle after. I learned the hard way that even with the alignment posts it can get thrown out resulting in some minor dog tracking and odd tire wear.

Go to procompusa site. The link will lead right off there. It's the same spring as the '09 and up
