Default Thinking about adding a rear leaf spring

So if I add a rear leaf spring how much more weight can u tow

It won't change the amount you can tow unless your rear sag was outpacing your engine/transmission/differential combo. Your tow ratings are determined by a whole lot of different things including your braking ability, steering ratio, differential gearing, bearings, etc. It only adds a little payload capability- by this I mean you can load it up and it won't sit on the bump stops
I threw in the procomp AAL and it states an extra 900-1000lbs, I can safely say that it holds weight. I had over a ton in the box and it sat level.

Thanks yea I have the shortbed and put some Sheetrock in it and it dropped about 2.5 inches so now it sits level with the front... And I want to level it and don't want the back to sag that much

Summit Racing and it is like 110 i believe. Depends on what year truck though im sure. For 04-08's it is like 110.

Thanks I have an 08.... I called 4wheelparts and they said they can add one I don't know if its the same parts ur talking about and it would cost 280 installed

That's not too bad considering what shop rates average.

Just make sure they check your thrust angle after. I learned the hard way that even with the alignment posts it can get thrown out resulting in some minor dog tracking and odd tire wear.
