Default Can a 4" fit 35's.

Hey everyone. I just bought a 2016 fx4 and ive already been looking at lifts. Orginally i wanted a 6" Bds but the dealer wont honor my powertrain. I was thinking about doing a 4" and buy adjustable shocks. Inwas told i could adjust them to 6 inch. But also could i fit 35s on without a problem.

Answer: Yes

Protip: Use the manufacturers website to check the stats of the lift you want. They will all tell you what size tires you can fit and what wheel sizes will work.

To answer your question, yes.

But it will come down to your wheel offset and backspacing too.

Manufactures have a max backspacing you can fit with their kits.

Find out what the max backspacing is on the kit you want and then you can go decide which wheels to get.

I'm on a 4" BDS with +18 offset wheels 18x 8.5". Could easily fit 35's. Running 34's now.

Rough Country 4" lift on my 2wd and 35's, only had to trim a little plastic under the bumper. 4wd trucks are 2" higher from the factory so you won't have any issues. Also my rims are -12 offset with 4.5" back spacing.

I put 35's on my truck with just a level, so yes 35's will definitely fit with a 4" lift. Just don't go extreme with your offset or you'll rub.

35s fit with a 2.5" level on stock wheels. Offset wheels will not allow them to fit without cutting.
