I have tried searching and asked on multiple threads. I have been a member for a little while and know to search. That is how i found this thread.
Apparently the camera wiring has been changed on the 2012 - up. I have the camera that came from a 2014 part # el3t-19g490-aa i am wiring to a aftermarket double din. Wires have been ran but image is blurred. Either i can get it clear and it will be dark. Or light and be blurred.

Yeah searched sure enough. No offense the search function on this board leaves much to be desired, nothing definitive any time i've tried looking for this answer. Some say look driver footwell and some say passenger footwell, some have different wire colors than others on this side / that side...you get my drift I suppose.

Lol, very true. The thing is I added the stock camera and only the camera with the bezel. Hooked it up to aftermarket double din. Which is nice because I can turn it on when ever I want, Also comes on automatically when put into reverse. I have a ok image just would like to have it clearer.

Were you able to identify an appropriate wire to attach to your HU's reverse signal trigger wire?
I've got my aftermarket camera working perfectly, except that I have to manually enable the camera (which of course powers on when I go into reverse). Just need to find the right wire to trigger the camera display automatically.

Just to update in case other "searchers" find this thread:
I ended up running a new line (16g speaker cable, fwiw) to the rear of the vehicle. I attached the rear backup light to the "reverse trigger wire" of my HU and then I attached switched 12V line next to my HU to the positive terminal of my camera.
I get the autoswitch when I go into reverse, and I still have power if I want to view that rear camera if I'm not reverse. Works great.

Do you have the oem trailer hookup? It is not only the 4 pin connector but the round one next to it. If you do then you can t- tap or splice into the wire just inside the engine driverside compartment. There is a rubber garment that you can run 1 wire through from driverside of the cab to the engine bay hook up to the reverse trigger wire.
