I just bought mine from Future Shop today. They price-matched Sonic Electronix for me (including dash kit, harness, and antenna adapter), and it all came out to $312. I'll be putting in my 07 SCrew tonight. I just need to figure out how to bypass the DVD on it before I do.

Add the bypass relay

I put the 3400 in my '11 SCab. Turned out pretty good with the rest of my system. Lots of adjustment for tuning with built in 8 band eq. I'd recommened it in a second.

If I knew what that was, I'd gladly do it. I'm always hesitant about modifying anything new and pre-established, regardless how many people before me have done it successfully (there always seems to be the one or two people who have failed the mod, and failed spectacularly, that makes me double- and triple-think about it)

I was able to find instructions on how to bypass with just a toggle switch (http://www.caraudio.com/forums/head-...vh-2400bt.html) but with so many conflicting "yes this will work" and "no this won't work" posts everywhere else, it drives me a little crazy

I just bought a nice small one on Amazon for $10. 3 wire hookup. If you use the toggle switch you will need to flip it twice every time you start the truck. The bypass does it automatically.

Amazon Amazon

Look on youtube, they have videos that show you how to bypass them. All it really is is tricking the parking brake wire into seeing a ground as if your parking brake is engaged to let you play video. The bypass uses a relay so when you add power the relay trips and makes the HU think the parking brake is on. Pretty easy.

I completely forgot I had posted in this thread lol. I'm at work right now and I only have a couple crappy pics on my phone, when I get home tonight I'll take some better ones for you

So far I'm really impressed with the unit, as I expected. My main reason for getting the 2400 over the 1400 was the Bluetooth. All my music is on my phone (Android) so I just pair the 2 and stream all my music wirelessly.

As far as the bypass goes, you can buy the prewired relay or just make one yourself
