does anyone have a pioneer avh-2400 or similar model in their truck?
can you post some pics of it so i can see what it looks like in there?
what was involved to put it in and how long did it take and what was needed?


if anyone has one they want to sell or trade let me know I'm looking to get one ASAP!

Funny how you posted this thread, i was thinking of making a similar thread because i am also seriously looking at this head unit.

I found a you tube video of the 3400 (same out side as 2400) in a 04-08 f150.

Added steering wheel harness so steering wheel controls would work. Used a harness to override parking brake function on Added rear camera. Installation with some prior knowledge is a 6 out of 10.

haha, I need to make my decision in the next couple day because one of Best Buys competitors have the HU on sale so i want to take the flyer to Best Buy so they can price match and give me 10% off. But the competitors sale ends Thursday.

Its a Canadian retailer called Future Shop and its on for $349 (reg $449) so when i price match it at BB it would be $314 which is decent for up here in Canada.
