You're trying to install a larger amp to run the factory woofer? I personally wouldn't waste my time and just replace it with aftermarket

No, I'm going to be keeping the stock sony sub. I'm wanting to add a 10" sub and amp. I'm wanting to splice into the current sub to run my PAC and remote wire.

What PAC are you trying to use?

The latest wiring diagram I have is from the 2010 MY.

The Sony wiring may have changed, maybe someone with a newer truck can confirm.

I dont know how into subs you are but most would say dont mix and match. Also i dont know how much the sony sub is but if you dont have it i would suggest going a different path like jl w3 <my buddy has 2 in his 97> they sound awesome, me personally im going with Sundown D2-12 if i can get them to fit soon as i get taxes back. if you dont want to go with a seat lift you could fit 1 sundown d2 10 or 2 if you go sealed and im 99% sure that will sound better than both the sony and the factory sub lol.

I would ditch the factory and just add the new one. If you have a 2013 then the PAC FRD24 won't work if you were thinking about using it
