Front/Rear Speaker Size
Question for the audiophiles out there.
I know what size I need and what will and will not fit. My dilema is what cone size to use.
I am thinking 6 3/4 round for the front component set and a 6X8 (oval) two-way for the rear.
Your input would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks,

Thank You for the response, Tallyman89.
Was curious if anyone has heard of Oxygen Audio. Not many reviews out there. Seems to be a French company now hawking their wares here in the US. Speaker specs are on par with the mid to high-end components from JL, Focal, etc.
Thanks again.

I have 5x7 Sony Xplods in the front (doors) and Rockford Fosgate 6x8 in the rears. Spend the extra money to soundproof the doors while you have the panels off, which DOES compensate for the smaller 5x7s there. The Fosgates handle the power and Bass better, so adjust your fader accordingly. You'll be pleased with the result!

Sound proofing the doors is part of Stage III, as is another set of Prime 6x8s, a Prime 10" Shallow in an under-seat box, and POSSIBLY a new 4-channel amp. The Primes sound great in the front doors, and I have them crossed over at 80hz, so I get lots of bass in my front sound stage.
