Component instal without cutting wires??? Possible?
So my goal is to not cut any wires on my truck. So far I've added a sub and have been able to keep with that.
My question has anyone upgraded the front component speakers and been able to not cut the truck wires up?
I ordered speaker adapters and speaker harnesses to help with not modifying/hacking up the truck. Does anyone know where I can get the audio signal from to attach to my crossovers?
Other option would be to run new speaker wire from the amp to crossover and then new wire from the crossover to tweeter. If I did this I'm still stuck trying to tap into the front woofer wire from the cross over. Anyone have any suggestions??
Third option would be to remount the tweeter in the door a frame.. Preferably I'm not wanting to do this but i believe it would keep me from cutting the stock wiring.
Thanks again for any help.

Depending on the year of your truck, Best Buy may have the adapters in stock. I got the adapters for my 02 Exploder there.

What did you end up doing for this? I was thinking the same thing because Ford uses those stupid plugs instead of just wires inside the rubber boot. I mounted my xover in the door then realized I couldn't get the wire back inside the cab to hookup the tweeter.
Thanks!
Thanks!

The speaker conversion for the woofer. Used the parrot harness at the deck To get to my amp. Then from the amp I went to my speaker crossover where I tied the woofer output into the factory speaker wire and ran a new wire for the tweeter in the stock location. If you want to mount the crossover in the door I'm not sure how to do it easily.
