Default 2015 Subwoofer Enclosure

Anyone done one yet? Do the prior years fit under the rear seat?

LK1, am doing measurements today =)

Will be ordering that sub soon then contacting a friend of mine with a wood shop. Gonna be a very creative endeavor on his part but hey, easy to test.

This is the recommended expected sealed volume. This is what I have to work with. The sub is 2.25 deep, needing 5.5 baffle/enclosure so going to hunt that depth down back there today and also the 20 width and 15 height... gonna be a long shot behind that back seat.

I need to figure out where to grab the remote amp turn on from. Thinking I may need to grab power from the fuse box panel all the way up front.

LK1, I'm considering using the DSP I choose for this.

I've dug around a bit but can't do a ton of digging just yet but this is a good question and relevant to the thread clearly. Ill revisit later after the errands.

Yes, that is how I did on my 2012. However, I was looking at my DSP, Helix DSP Pro, and it doesn't require it using the hi level inputs......Used this processor before along with the regular Helix DSP and never knew it didn't need a remote turn on. LOL

Understood so the concensus is wire up the system with constant power and when Sony system turns on the dsp will recognize signal and turn itself on?
