2013 FX2 - 6 channel amp/Audison DSP install
The truck is a 2013 FX2 with Sony stereo and MyFordTouch. Like many others, tired of the crappy sound so it's time to do something about it!
Equipment:
Image Dynamics CSX64v.2 comps
Image Dynamics CTX 65 rearfill
Audison Bit Ten D
Arc Audio XDi 1200.6
KnuKonceptz speaker wire & RCA's
Stinger 1/0 power and ground
Single 10" Fox Box
Sundown Audio SD-3 10" (pre-ordered through my local dealer, a temp sub setup will be running in the mean time a ID 10" sub in a sealed box).
Fat Mat XXX Rattle Trap
Progress:
So far I have done sound dampener, made amp rack, hopefully this coming weekend I will be able to finish the truck up. Here are some pics.

Some more updates from this weekend. Power wire, ground, remote, 9 wire from factory sony amp all ran. 2 runs to the driver door done, just gotta finish the other 3 doors then punch everything down and put it all back together.
Center console removed to access Sony amp, wasn't bad at all.
Factory Sony amp and speaker wires that will be tapped
Speaker rings made out of 1/2" HPDE it ain't purty but she'll work
ID 2" tweets mounted in front of door handle

I have a 9 wire running from the factory sony amplifier to the back wall.
That is connected to the Audison Bit Ten, The bit ten is then connected to the aftermarket amplifiers. Then speaker wire is sent to the crossovers just right there at the amp rack. Then from the crossovers I ran all new speaker wire to the doors (it wasn't horribly bad but it was certainly a pain at some points).
Hope this helps. I didn't touch the factory head unit - the picture you see where the center console is removed, that is the factory amplifier sitting on the floor. I tapped the speaker signal coming out of that.

My amp rack sits on the back wall and my crossovers are mounted on the back wall as well - in a nut shell here is how the wire is ran.

Like I said though - I'm no pro and have only done a few installs before but I used decent speaker wire last time and didn't have any noise issues.

The truck is up and running - I'll get more pics when I get the chance. The audison DSP works like a charm. I need to get to work on dialing everything in but at least music is playing for now - Lol!

Very nice set up and really nice equipment choices. I personally searched my a off for a set of Image horns but no luck. So I ended up going with kicks.
