10 or 12 ?
i have the factory sub and im wanting to go better so my question is ....
should i get single 10 or 12 ?
im not gonna amp the fronts and i will keep the nav system so i kind thinkin the 12 might be too much and should get the 10 but think i say i want it to be deep and louder bass and say get the 12 lol
will the single 10 have tons more bass that the factory sub ?
anybody have a single 10 or 12 that can help give me some insite ?
will be ordering it friday
just need some help deciding
thx

Are you replacing the sub amp? If not, you are wasting your money and trying the polyfil of the OEM sub is likey your best bet.
If replacing the sub amp then a 10" sub would be great. I wouldn't go for a 12 unless you amp your fronts otherwise your sub amp gains will be turned down so the sub doesn't overpower your front stage and be a waste.
I have a single 12 in my truck, but I run an amp for the front speakers and an amp for the sub.

Mind sharing your setup? I'm trying to run a single 12 Alpine type r with a dedicated amp but can't decide how big to go on wattage for either front or back. Also, any pics?
