new to fords
I just aquired a 2001 F150 from my grandparents, traded them my car due to them getting older and having a harder time getting in and out of the higher truck.
Ive previously had 2 dodge rams 99' 5.9, and 03' Hemi. I know a little about truck and i love to figure stuff out and fix it myself. Right now the truck is very basic. Pretty much completely stock 5.4 4x4 ext cab. First thing i had to do was replace the stock cd player with the alpine idax100 i took out of my car. From what ive read i might be better off selling the subs i had (2 12' kicker comps) and finding some 10's and getting a box under the rear seats.
I plan on getting a cutout as soon as i can round up more info and impressions from other members who may have already tried this route. i had an elec cutout on my hemi and loved it.
I look forward to posting more and learning as much as i can about my new truck.
