Thanks for the welcome and the info folks! I do alot of long distance highway driving as well as a fair bit of gravel and backcountry roads for hunting and fishing. As for towing, not a whole lot right now but a trailer with a couple quads and a 16 - 20' boat (maybe 2000lbs tops) is in the not too distant future. That said, having tow power isn't a bad thing in case I ever need it. I have been told the 5.0L get's better fuel economy around town, which naturally is the bulk of my driving but if it's a matter of a couple MPG that doesn't worry me too much. Would it be safe to say the Ecoboost does better on fuel when it comes to highway driving? I think I'll certainly have to take one for a test drive and see.
