Hello my name is nick. I'm new to this site as of today. I'm from the west michigan area (specifically spring lake/grand haven) and I drive a 1997 2wd f150. It's a single cab short box flare side lariat. 4.6 Windsor with a 5-speed manual transmission. It's got 245000 miles on it but runs like it should. I'm 16 and this is my second vehicle...my first was a 1991 ford escort wagon that was in real bad shape. I sold that for $600 and bought my f 150 for $600. I'd say I made a good move! Lol
Plans for my truck are:
-3 inch lift/level
-33's or maybe 35's
-Detroit tru trac rear end
-build a 4.6 supercharged to drop in some day
Upgrades to truck:
-exhaust (cat delete) to a thrush turbo
-k&n cone filter
-2 10" JL Audio woofers
-kenwood 4 channel 1200 watt amp
-kenwood deck
-street glow blue synchronized LED lighting
Nothing fancy just enough to catch some looks lol
A little about me:
I work as a tear down/delivery driver for a Reupholstry company.
I will be taking my Michigan State Certification Test for HD Diesel Engines in 2 days
My truck is my favorite possession in life as it is fast and surprisingly good off road. I've gone through things that people in lifted jeeps got stuck in.

Hey guys and gals. I'm a long time Ford truck owner but new to forums and not very adept at anything computer related. My present truck is a 2009 F150 scab XLT, 5.4L 4x4. Mods are Bilstein leveling shocks, Yokohama Geolander tires and a K&N filter. Just today I ordered a Westin HDX grill guard in ss and plan on a Borla cat back system. Had that on my '98 Expedition and it was awesome. As my "other woman" as my wife calls her ages, I look forward to any advice to keep her running like new!
